A common distorted thinking pattern is to focus on the wrong you do and not give yourself credit for the good you do.
The next time you blame yourself, stop. Check the facts. Then sing this little tune to those blaming thoughts and for fun throw in some dance moves and shake it off.
Sometimes that’s all we can do. Recognize the distorted thought for what it is- Distorted. And then move on.
